Blackened Salmon & Lemon Dill Yogurt
- 12-oz. salmon fillet
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili pepper
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon herbed salt
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon fresh dill
- ½ teaspoon lemon zest
- ⅓ cup Chobani 0% Nonfat Greek Yogurt
- Salt and pepper
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Remove skin from salmon, if desired.
- Combine dry seasonings and rub onto one side salmon fillet.
- Heat olive oil in nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Place salmon, seasoned side down, into oil and sear for 90 seconds.
- Flip salmon gently and sear on other side for 90 seconds.
- Remove salmon from skillet, place on baking sheet and bake for 4 minutes.
- Prepare dip ingredients: Chop dill into fine pieces and zest lemon peel.
- Whisk together yogurt, dill, lemon zest, salt and pepper to create dip.
